Brrrr!

First off can I just say. Blogger stinks!
I can only enlarge two pictures per post. WEIRD.
And, I have to upload all of my pictures to Picasa first. This is lame.

Okay now to my post.
It has been COLD. And, please keep in mind that Francis & I are born and raised Phoenicians. We don't like cold. When I dropped Kali off at school today it was 28*. Brrrr times 3!
The kids walked over to my parents the other night dressed like this. Thank goodness for our Utah trip over Thanksgiving otherwise we would not have clothes warm enough for this weather. Kali lost another tooth so she is missing her 2 front teeth :) Look at that silly grin.

So we've been trying to keep the kids busy indoors. Which is quite difficult. Luckily, Kali has dance twice a week & Kai started Karate again. We had the neighbors over to play (soooo nice having friends so close), rented movies from Redbox, played some games on the Wii like bike racing, basketball & bowling. The kids rolled out a huge roll of paper and did some neat drawings. Read books from the library and we even filled at bucket up with an inch of water & put toy dinosaurs & rocks in it then left it outside to freeze. The kids we really excited to see it in the morning and used screw drivers to chip away the ice and then we filled it with more water so they could have floating "icebergs"
Kora is 27 weeks today. This girl LOVES her food. I've been making her baby food (which is so easy, I should have done it for Kali & Kai) She likes sweet potato and pears the best.
She is NOT a fan of naps :/
They only last for about 30 minutes and she gets up 3 times a night now. I am so tired but I just love this little lady so much I am happy to see her even in the middle of the night.
This past week she has decided that she does NOT like strangers. She cried when she saw the pediatrician (who is the nicest guy) and our neighbor who held her the entire night of our Halloween Party. She likes to see all of the dogs at my parent's house & really likes when my Dad holds her. Then she usually spits up on him.
She loves to be in Kali & Kai's room in the middle of all of the action. I've been letting Kali "babysit" her for me. She puts a blanket in her floor for Kora to roll around on while I do the dishes or clean the living room. It's only a small amount of time but a big help for me & Kali is always so proud of herself.
Kora also, really enjoys her exersaucer.
Look at that sweet smile!

Desert Ridge

We went out to Desert Ridge last night for Holiday story time & snowfall.
Here is the story time...it was pretty boring for the kids
so Francis took a bunch of pictures (we are still getting use to our new camera)

like, why is the date on the picture??
I just love these handsome boys
Kali, of course, had to strike a pose
 the kids had some cookies
then Kai said he wanted to leave and Kali agreed so we walked down to the little playground and the big Christmas tree
 It is SOOO pretty!
We went into Barnes and Noble where the kids showed us what they want for Christmas (pretty much everything) and they got pirate eye patches....AARG!
Then, it was time for the snowfall where we saw our friends the Turner's.
It looks like our kids are crazy but I swear there was snow
see, here is it shooting out
I also saw my friend Misti from high school. Here she is meeting Kora
 Kali holding "snow"
By the way, it's still so warm here that we were all hot in our long sleeves last night...crazy!!
After the snow it was time to go to Dave & Busters and use the rest of our game card.
We only had $10 left so the kids (Fran is a big kid) did some skeeball
and then we found this AWESOME game that both of the kids loved & in 10 minutes they won 1,000 tickets!!!!
I've never seen Kai so excited!
They got a bunch of stuff from the little prize shop then we got some Yogurtini by our house & headed home.
It was such a fun Wednesday night :)

Keeping kids busy

Here is how we keep 3 kids busy:
We go to the park

look at this: cutest chunky foot EVER!
a giant bag of sand toys

 exersaucer time
making giant snowmen on the wall
Kai's is Jack Sparrow and Kali's is a princess
 playing with Uncle Bret's dog
 wrestling with Granddad
as you can see there's lots to keep us busy
