Itty Bitty Golf Tournament

Kai played in his last year of the Itty Bitty Golf Tournament (it's for 3-5 year olds) Daddy was his caddy & Kora and I went to cheer him on!
It was such a nice day outside. The weather has been perfect lately.

Kora was the most stylist spectator there :)

Warming up

We are back to our nice Phoenix winter weather.
The kids were happy to get out of the house.
Francis took them on a little hike & here are the pictures of their adventure.

Finding rocks is always a favorite (they bring them home and wash them in the sink...ugh)
The rock stacks that we add to when we go up on the hill

Kali is always posing....sassy little lady

The ever present cat bones. YUCK. There are some coyotes that live on the hill so they drag all the neighborhood cats up here & eat them. The kids like to look at them. It's gross.
We are lucky to have the little hill by us. I played up there a lot as a girl so its neat that my kids like it so much too.

Brrrr!

First off can I just say. Blogger stinks!
I can only enlarge two pictures per post. WEIRD.
And, I have to upload all of my pictures to Picasa first. This is lame.

Okay now to my post.
It has been COLD. And, please keep in mind that Francis & I are born and raised Phoenicians. We don't like cold. When I dropped Kali off at school today it was 28*. Brrrr times 3!
The kids walked over to my parents the other night dressed like this. Thank goodness for our Utah trip over Thanksgiving otherwise we would not have clothes warm enough for this weather. Kali lost another tooth so she is missing her 2 front teeth :) Look at that silly grin.

So we've been trying to keep the kids busy indoors. Which is quite difficult. Luckily, Kali has dance twice a week & Kai started Karate again. We had the neighbors over to play (soooo nice having friends so close), rented movies from Redbox, played some games on the Wii like bike racing, basketball & bowling. The kids rolled out a huge roll of paper and did some neat drawings. Read books from the library and we even filled at bucket up with an inch of water & put toy dinosaurs & rocks in it then left it outside to freeze. The kids we really excited to see it in the morning and used screw drivers to chip away the ice and then we filled it with more water so they could have floating "icebergs"
Kora is 27 weeks today. This girl LOVES her food. I've been making her baby food (which is so easy, I should have done it for Kali & Kai) She likes sweet potato and pears the best.
She is NOT a fan of naps :/
They only last for about 30 minutes and she gets up 3 times a night now. I am so tired but I just love this little lady so much I am happy to see her even in the middle of the night.
This past week she has decided that she does NOT like strangers. She cried when she saw the pediatrician (who is the nicest guy) and our neighbor who held her the entire night of our Halloween Party. She likes to see all of the dogs at my parent's house & really likes when my Dad holds her. Then she usually spits up on him.
She loves to be in Kali & Kai's room in the middle of all of the action. I've been letting Kali "babysit" her for me. She puts a blanket in her floor for Kora to roll around on while I do the dishes or clean the living room. It's only a small amount of time but a big help for me & Kali is always so proud of herself.
Kora also, really enjoys her exersaucer.
Look at that sweet smile!

Go Suns!

Daddy took Kali to her first Sun's game last night. Yaya decked Kali out in an adorable purple outfit with a blinged out Sun's hat. Francis said she was like a little famous person because they got their seats upgraded & people were asking about her fabulous hat.

Kali cheered & dance the entire game

 held up her sparkly sign
 took pictures with Daddy

and had some yummy treats

like a cookie the size of her head :)

She said it was the BEST night EVER!

New Year's Day

Here's the thing about our family. We LOVE to be outside. And the past week was cloudy & cold so it was a little rough for us. To top it off the kids have had a cold.
But, finally on New Year's Day the sun was out & we were all ready to get out of the house.
The boys started the day with a gun fight out front.

Then, it was off to the zoo!
 We ate a yummy lunch.
Kora was a trooper the whole time we were there.

Then, on the car ride home Kora decided she hates the car & cried the WHOLE way home.
Yikes!
Other than a screaming baby in the car, it was a really nice day.
